Opening/Closing

Doors

The comfort which is such a hallmark of the Maybach models begins in the moment you get into the vehicle. Thanks to the easy-close function the rear doors close effortlessly under power assistance. This feature is part of the standard equipment in the Maybach 62 and Maybach 62 S, while it must be required on the Maybach 57 and the Maybach 57 S.

Moreover, thanks to the almost silent power closing, you will soon find that this function
is a comfort and convenience feature you would never want to be without. A light touch makes
all the difference. As well as offering you outstanding comfort when on the move, the Maybach features equally pleasing convenience functions which come into play when it is stationary.
The door hold function makes getting in and out easier by maintaining any chosen door opening angle - up to 90° - to ensure you an absolute sense of comfort.
Moreover, the lower edge of door covers the sill, ensuring no dirt can transfer to occupants’ clothes when getting in and out your Maybach.
Boot

Boot

The huge boot available on Maybach models shows his roominess just with a light touch. The boot of Maybach models is the biggest one in the high-end luxury segment, with its 605 litres volume and a payload of 525 kg, allowing to place 4 normal suitcases in the upright position.
The opening of the boot lid happens magically and almost in silence. It can be triggered by pressing either of three buttons, one situated inside the vehicle, the other on the key and the third one on the boot lid.
Closing electrically the boot lid is possible only by pressing the last one. A programmed opening limit reduces the risk of vehicle damage when operating the boot lid where headroom is restricted.

KEYLESS-GO

You can unlock the doors of your Maybach without having to operate the key. Simply carrying it with you is all that is required. As well as simplifying the unlocking process significantly, the KEYLESS-GO electronics allow you to start the engine without having to use the ignition lock. Instead, a press of the button on the selector lever is all it takes – and then the pleasure of the Maybach driving experience can begin.
